Deeper Than Life

Topic: Lifepoems

The essence of life lies within your subconscious.
The lowlife hailing the fire, which burns beneath us.
I’m not trying to be spiritual in this crazy world.
I’m just trying to give a message to this crazy world.
Flaming thrones are full of the matter, which creates us.
Can you tell me why you’re here bowing to the master?
For you can move higher, you can move past her.

I’m not trying to draw you a picture of the tempest.
I’m just trying to lead you to where the sun is brightest.
I know you don’t believe me when I say ‘I’m here to help.’

Problems gleaming on the reflection on the waterfall,
Seems that no one really understands us after all.
I want to tell you everything, leave nothing unsaid.
But I can promise, I’ll tell you before we are dead.
I’ll always be here for you,
Trust that I will never ignore you.
You are my candle in this darkened castle.

Crossing the bridge won’t be so easy.
But finding that Promised Land, would be oh so pleasing.
I’m not saying I believe in everything they do.
I’m just saying I believe in me and you.
I’m not going to put out the fire.
I’ll only take you much higher.
Trust that I will never fall.
But know that we’ll never have to crawl.

One day we’ll walk on the rings of Saturn.
We’ll travel the galaxies and the stars.
We’ll always be together as we marvel at the sun.
And our new journey has only just begun.

No matter what, we’ll always never forget.
Never lose the innocence you had as a child.
Always be pure, never leave that status.
Yes, I’m losing my rhyme.
But at this time,
That’s the least of my worries.
Always think outside of the box.
Never inside of that tiny box,
And always look for a deeper meaning in life.

good write. i liked that a lot. and you always have to put in a little laughter into stuff, don't you? lol. nice, i liked that. i might say inspirational for that one. it was a nice write. and i have to say that anyone who has you as a friend has to be lucky because you don't give in easily. that's awesome. i like how you showed that you aren't going to give up or fall. i liked reading that! keep up the good work!
