Its quiet here...
The absence of light surrounding the twisting green becomes....overhelming...
...i have succumbed..
Beneath me the seeds of longing and discontent spawn sin's harvest.
Seedlings take their root in every imperfection...
...feeding on the black...
The air fills with anger and broken dreams...
The vines consume me.
My carcass lies motionless, empty, ruptured by vines.
Roots twist and drill.
Cold benumbs my soul.
I shall reap what i have sown.
Bound in the Fortress, to choke on
The Harvest of my Discontent.

I have read all the poetry you have posted so far and enjoyed all of them. This one is my favorite. I liked the imagery, the words painted a picture in my mind. I hope you continue to write and share. |
