Topic: Grief

Last night I dreamed a wonderful dream
That I was in heaven or so it seemed.
The sky was so blue, the grass so green
And angels filled everywhere in between.
I saw Grand-dad and Granny too
And then I saw the one that had to be you.
I saw you wave and saw you smile
I really wanted to stay awhile.
You said it was time for me to leave
To go back home and not to grieve.
I said goodbye and shed a tear
But you said not to worry because you'll always be near.
So I closed my eyes, and at home I awoke.
But I'll see you again my darling friend someday I hope.
