The world is to small a place to run and hide
However, seek and you shall find
The son of man
And the thirteenth
Lost tribe
Good and wholesomeness
Blood garnishes
Confused artistic novelists
With no sense of the truth
Or not to fondle it
No tolerance
For superficial
Egotistical
Ethnocentric
For war or political
Baptism by force
Dunked and choked
In the river of hope
Ice glaciers float
On mountains of sea
Snow foothills
Descend
Sandy shores
Beach front property
Entitled to yours
Is the home
With no front door key
Endless towers
Harnessing electrical wires
Thunderstorm shakes
The spark breaks
Into a tidal wave of fires
Domino effect
From one to the next
The lines of communication
Are in effect
Obsolete and retired
The world is to small a place to run and hide
Yet too big
To hold all this love inside
The son of man
Falls asleep in silence

Wow. I like this one a lot jyss...Your mind takes the reader all over the place in this write. I was getting fantastic visuals the whole way through...How you can cover such vastly different things in one write, AND somehow string them together is a sure sign of a very talented poet...Well done!!!!

what the $#@!
I'm speechless jyss..this took me from Genesis and back again..
What stifling imagery and idealism:
"Baptism by force
Dunked and choked
In the river of hope"
and..
"Good and wholesomeness
Blood garnishes
Confused artistic novelists
With no sense of the truth
Or not to fondle it"
I want to quote the whole damn thing!
what an amazing write-
just amazing
Many thanks for sharing this one
