Bared – sleepy soul here before you
Tired from this treacherous walk I knew better than to take.
Open for you to devour, only in this darkened hour-
I’ve got so many miles left to go before the day breaks-
And I can’t wait for you to hesitate, so make your move
Before I do, before this settles wrong in me
If I have to run so I can breathe,
I’ll keep running.
Promises, of a brighter tomorrow,
Clouding my regrets from yesterday
Don’t read into my sorrow – I just want to be with you-
Can't we let our dreams carry us away?
I can’t stand it here stuck in between-
And if I have to run so I can breathe,
I’ll keep running.
