I've been so close to breaking down
I don't see how I can even stand anymore
I'm thankful that I haven't been given too much stress
But theres still only so much heartache one man can ignore

I'll hide it in a place in my mind so deep and dark
More and more bad thoughts fit in there and I don't know how
I'll keep it for safe keeping and I'll plan to tend to it later
Because heartache is something I can't deal with right now

It'll come screaming out someday
I don't know where or when but I'll quietly wait
It'll be a whirlwind of words and I hope I won't hurt anyone I love
And I hope they all know it was only because I suffocated my heartache
