HOT FLASHES JOIN MY REUNION
Please try to imagine if you will.....
A pig roasting slowing upon a grill
You're not the pig, you're the hot coals
Now throw water upon yourself,
that's the "Hot Flash Rolls!"
Start with the farthest away big toe....
Tingle, Tingle, warm, warmer, outflow.
Top of your head as well below....
A warm sensation begins like a candle glow.
You know it's coming to getcha as warmer you become
"Oh Please Hot Flash, can't you wait 'til I read my poem?
I'm so embarrassed, my face is red, I might faint right here!
Hot flashes can't hear, their deaf and dumb, only severe!"
Tell me how in the world do Hot Flashes fit
in with your reunion?
Well, I'll tell you, "Connie will you read your poem?"
Who me? He's looking at me? I didn't know, I'm frozen!
I'd not been asked before hand to do anything.....
as my heart kicks my bosom!
"Remember you're making memories here old woman,"
I reason in my mind, "You could say "No" you know!"
"Surely.....anyone can say no, but that wouldn't be any fun?"
That's when the Hot Flash took over as I read my poem
mighty slow!
I just turned 68, that inner child of mine is still
incinerating my activities!
She's going to stay to irritate me until the day
I turn up the daisies.
Burned will be the grass o'er my entombed body.
Please won't somebody be very kind, and slip
inside my coffin a case of brandy?

| ConSue, I hope that many men will read your poem. A good friend of the wife's suffers badly from the same trouble. Nothing seems to do any good not even cold showers. You have all of my sympathy. Hugs from Martha and bernard. |

I sympathise with you Sue. Never felt the same.
I am going through the early pre meno.
Could not believe it when the doc told me.
Tin opener in the washer.
No where did I put them tomatoes lol.
God its hot in here.
How long does this go on for forever and ever it seems.

I do sympathize deeply if that really should be the case.
It does affect people often differently. I trust you will get over any malais that it possibly may cause very soon.
These days it is hard to give too much thought to hot flashes, hoping so much for cooling off while getting into a shower.
This is the physical part. here is of course also the phylosophical aspect.
It is perfectly possible that somebody kept from the full and vigorous exercise and implementation of one's faculties causes a distress that also m ay bring on hot flashes.
So, I think we have to utilize our gifts to the maximum whether cold or hot.
And this wonderful work implies it. In a bmost beautiful and discreet way.
Friends do not stymie faculties and talents.
Frustration would be the consequence.
Wonderful job ConSue. In the discreet and delicate a way communicated to the reader.

| I agree with Shari. I hate them, despise them, get angry with them and anyone else around. I have found though that using the soy products and drinking soy milk instead of regular is helping. I use New Phase but talk to your pharmacist. It has even helped with the horrible night sweats where I would have to get up and change my gown and sheets. It is a terrible thing to go through. My flashes sympathise with yours and anyone else suffering from them. Rita |

Mine started at twenty nine years of age do to a necessay complete hysterectomy.
fortunate I've either out grown them of jus don't pay attention any more.
