My people once flourished and thrived
Untel the Romans arrived
The druids had no choice and fled
Still many were hunted and are now dead
We were outcast and feared
Many people thought we were weird
The knowledge and truth is in our minds
Its hard knowing everything that binds
We will still lead you to the light
Down to our very last fight

This was an excellent poem. You made it sound as though this has actually happened(it probably did but what do I know?) Again, Very good and Good luck writing more poems! |
