Topic: DarkPoetry

I stare up at the vastness of the dark blue sky
Slowly a tear trickles from my eye

The beauty and serenity is washed away
Into a bottomless oblivion it will forever stay

Im stumbling in the dark I cant find where to go
Searching for a light that somehow will never glow

Thoughts are easily constructed but words always seem to fall apart
Is there anything that compares to an empty hollow heart

Searching for a broken memory isnt tough to do
But what a person really needs to search for is within you
