At first sight I loved you
at first sight you smiled
and the time that we spent
was worth all the while
I stared so intently
at your precious lips
they are welcome to kiss
all my fingertips
Your eyes are amazing
your heart just the same
I get weak when you speak
or just say my name
I madly want to be
the girl of your dreams
I feel very happy
more so than it seems
My heart is on fire
each time you are near
I hope you believe that
these words are sincere
I can't read your thoughts yet
even if I try
sad tears fill up my eyes
when you say goodbye
Please trust me when I say
I'll devote my time
to keeping you happy
and making you mine
Now I must tell you, dear
how much I love you
and I hope that you feel
the same as I do
I loving is living
I'm living for you
If living is loving
my loving is true
If there is such a thing
as love at first sight
then it happened to me
on that very first night
