He lurks in the shadows
Waiting for my most vulnerable time
When my state of mind the most accessible
And then he enters
Prying into my psyche
Tearing through my thoughts
Bringing out the painful ones
Aggravating my wounds
Eating me from the inside out
There is no need to cry
I just loose myself
I find that little place
Where loathing, hatred, and spite
All come together
And reform my hollow eaten body
I ensconce my memories
And I carry on
In a cruel and deathly silence
