In Death Is Life

Contributed by ForeverAlone on Tuesday, 5th July 2005 @ 08:22:34 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

In Death Is Life

Sour and distasteful, Unknown and wasteful
Driven by the undertow of life, stretched by each and every strife

Boring and bland, Discontent and mad
Hues too deep to care for, darkness shadowed by dispair and gore

Shallow and bleak, Putrid and weak
Saddened by each thought of mind, corrosion seemingly the real deny

Crestfallen and broken, Desperate and open
Screams masked by pounding hearts, now in death, life has a start
. . .
Life: Filled full of chaotic depression and madness
Death: Release of all worries and numbing sadness

Death is the greatest stretch of happiness

i cant really what is different about this, except the style. your ending very well done. reminds me of the set up of three days grace with just like you. you have some creative rhymes, but also some very old ones, so i suppose you mixed them well enough.

Interesting style and format. It flows aye well. As to whether death is the greatest stretch of happiness, I'm none too sure, but it does have a ring to it. Perhaps it is, but I'll not stretch happiness quite that far. Heh... If I can't obtain it, I'll stop stretching and settle with duty. Keep it up.

Phenominal as usual Mr. Clark (lol)
I really enjoyed this because it got me thinking, which is always good. Every line makes you wonder, this is the kind of piece that you could read over and over and get something new everytime, the kind of piece that gets others brainstorming up new writes... it was very VERY well written I was very impressed... keep up the great writes.
