I am returning your pity

Oh, so you don’t like me that way
So you give me a pat on the back
Instead, maybe love me
And ill love you back

But no, you say you’re sorry
And then you’re on your way
You say, you’ll find someone
But no, not today.

You say no to me
Because you don’t want the love I am sending
Fine, I’ll keep it to myself
If you stop pretending

Pretending your nice
That you’re my best friend
Don’t give me your pity
Let’s skip to the end

You say that we are friends
Blah blah blah you’re a nice guy
This wont end nice
So why even try

So I guess that’s fine
You’ve made your decision
You tore my heart out
With amazing precision

So again I am alone
With tears in my eyes
I go back to life
And put on my disguise

Oh my goodness!!!
So painful, I hope you are ok.

I can relate to your every word, u must be reading my mind. A guy did this to me too, and he didnt even care, just pretended to be nice and left me standing there with nothing.

Its horrible, so I understand your pain.
