The Underdogs Bite

Contributed by Chronos on Monday, 4th July 2005 @ 02:08:55 AM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

You see it all the time, kids taking to the streets
they get tossed aside like an old piece of meat.
If some people would show just a little more love
if they would try a little harder when push comes to shove.
It happens all they time but nobody cares
all they seem to do is sit back and stare.
well, the time has come, i've had enough
the time has come, now we get rough.
They had it coming, they asked for a fight
now they'll feel the underdogs bite.
We'll see what the do without us to blame
they'll sit back and rot while we rise to fame.
Its time for the underdogs to have a ball
its time for the havenots to have it all.
They messed with us just a little to much
now they lay stiff, cold to the touch.
So remember this, if your looking for a fight
dont ask for the bark unless you can handle the bite.

"dont ask for the bark unless you can handle the bite." makes the poem final, and reflects on it, very good me thinks. heather agrees.
