Opprobrium

selfstruggles

The butterflies flutter out of my mouth,
(risen from my ribcage),
and become ugly.
The snakes slither out of my ears,
leaving me senseless.
The flowers' petals crumble and fall,
and form piles of curled and colored,
love-me-nots,
and shutter away from my eyes,
when I stop to smell the roses.
