Broken Heart

My heart has been broken many times
It has many jagged lines
All cutting it apart
Lines that ruin my heart
Broken trust
Means more rust
The brother routine
Is now annoying
I hate liking someone
Who likes me just as a friend
Saying I am like a sister
Gives my heart a blister
Every time I like a guy
I might as well not try
It is the same thing every time
Lie after lie after lie
Causing my heart to crack
So now my heart lacks
What people call love
A crow has kicked out my dove
Turned it from red to black
Kicked me off of life’s track
When I like someone, every time
They hurt this heart of mine
What was once whole
And was once full
Is now empty and torn,
Broken and worn,
Shattered to pieces,
Broken in many places

First of all, very nice poem. I like the ryhme scheme. I can some what relate to what is going on. But do not fret nor worry. I'm sure in time you'll meet a guy that does not consider you to be family. Ya know? It may take some time, but have patience, my friend. Patience is a virture. No matter how hard it may seem to wait. But no need to get into any 'do goody-goody' bullcrap. As I was once told, it's always nice to try new things. In other words, try not to look for a boyfriend. Instead, wait for one to find you. But of course, that too requires patience. But like I said before, do not worry. Go in peace!
