The Sun, The Moon, Us…All fine.
No instruction handed out with the crying,
slipped as we are /'/tween slivered dream
of feathered lids and graveled clawing.
Dawn/'/s baby teeth nipping infant chill,
new born marrow crawling in duty- bones to fill
whilst/'/ synapsed sparks command in toil,
speechless snippet/'/s whip waltzing on baton/'/s
cranial glimmers, astounding!
every life second
a Beethoven rampant in our private hall,
our booked soliloquy- our calcium amphitheater
roundly writhing /'/neath it all alone-
oh, such a bloody, bloody row!
A seashore/'/s cells, a misty moor, a tugged lunar show,
hovering then or now- pulsing blueness to and fro-
in fever to flood just under skin; nonchalant beating blood
below hairy fleshy ice of black, yellow, red, white-
this sluggish blue /'/neath pigment parchment hisses bubbles-
when our dermis falls to liquid breaches greeting magic air-
a rip, a war, a fall, a tear, a scrape-
then blue...now red!
/'/Tis flow be dirge or dearth-
spot or splash- spare or rash all day;
rampant or held at bay all, all the same.
A moon still white- A sun still bright
without percept in aerial tempo step,
a glimmer dimming, some marrow/'/s crawling ceased-
all the same all the time;
a life-death fabric wrinkled smooth and back again-
the sun, the moon, us…all fine.
