Smoke In a Glass The air smells sweet as it swirls you around
Road/'/s warm as your feet touch the ground
There/'/s nothing to hold your chances back
As you try to capture grey smoke with a glass

The smoke flicks forward inches from your grasp
You stumble over rocks appearing on the path
Worry floods as you ponder your ability to succeed
Can you contain white smoke under a glass

Air begins to thicken as you struggle to sigh
Stars laugh as you attempt just one more try
Victory winks as you reach one final time
Capturing precious smoke with a glass

Butterflies and rainbows are what you did seek
The truth can/'/t match a dream/'/s little peek
What/'/s cherished won/'/t thrive in a mortal vase
Life reveals as you release smoke from a glass
