It’s Our World

A world we live in
has changed in so many ways
It’s hard for me to depict it
in any certain phrase

Just know it has changed
from the way we used to know
Society used to be so loving
something many people no longer show

The character of the people
molded by a breaking society
The world is a sad place to live
a devastated humanity

Technology has gone too far
it divides people making friend or foe
The world’s populations on the rise
but people seem to have nowhere to go

War torn countries
politics play the most important role
Government’s not caring for the people
they’re blinded by their greed as a whole

When will it stop
when will humanity be at peace again
When will we all realize
together in this world, we need to live in

So the world is changing
but there are certain actions we all need to take
We need to stand together in love
and not be a hypocritical fake
