from the ashes
When things fall apart,
in failure; in the greatest failure,
things get better,
an elucidation necessarily occurs;
a clearing away,
of expectation maybe,
maybe of superfluous mental energy, maybe
of a false path,
maybe of it all.
Things get better.
And so don’t let it crush you,
Into submission or restraint;
FIGHT to Fight a fight
and swing, out of the corner of your eye, at anything
give em hell, as much hell as you have
and
RISK it ALL
Knowing when you lose it all,
it was yours to lose,
and whether you put it all on black, or red
it was the house’s money, and we all lose, always, anyhow
and even when you win you lose, often the worst
and we’re all getting dragged out in body bags
but luckily we own shares in the casino
And out of the biggest losses
often comes the biggest wins
but things always get better.
