Trying to see the good Torn up and thrown away
every night and every day
Leaves me in an unmistakable rift
where even I cannot lift
I try to see the good in stuff
even when its bad and super rough
But, sometimes I can't see the good in things
when I feel like I have shredded wings
They were the only things I had left
without them I am bereft
I wander, hoping only to find the good
sometimes I am mistaken, not understood
