A pretty kind of Blue The deep blue sea
to the sky blue above,
the periwinkle blanket
that your baby loves.
The faded blue jeans
that you first wore,
to your navy pleated skirt
that you got outdoors.
The nighttime blue
of a summer storm,
to the dark blue sweater
that kept you warm.
All these are all of
a different hue,
But, they all come from
A pretty kind of Blue
