Fugazzi Wishes
Laughter caroming as the death of a thousand cuts
lacerates
a smile an inch, an inch a
mile
of facaded stacked well
meaning lips and
teeth-
masters make the eyes gleam,
glean
harmony to fugazzi wishes
clinging
to wine glass dreams tinseled to the cuss and
crash
of broken dishes in the sweat house of those
providing
the illusion the room of diamonds and Cartier's
care beyond pendants and baubles they all leave
behind
the shiny torture squeezed empty from nothing until such
time
as the dance of cuts lacerate the vacancy in wait for the next fool in
line
