HELLO
“Hello”
Such a simple word yet it means so much
a way to reach out, and others to touch.
Add a smile to the greeting
for the first or subsequent meeting.
For the stranger, or the friend,
Know that your approach will not offend.
Add a hand shake to be formal
for that business deal, that you wish to seal.
For that special person add another word,
a compliment meant to flatter.
“Hello beautiful” you look nice.
The word does not really matter.
Said with meaning it leaves them gleaming
opens future doors and leaves them dreaming.
Add a hug or a kiss then your feelings
they can not dismiss, separation both may miss.
Let them know, how you're feeling.
With a gift like a flower, this has so much power
it may get to their heart, and top of friendship tower.
This all starts with a simple greeting.
A hand shake with a smile
On our first meeting
with the simple word
“Hello”
