wishing on a star Stars twinkling
like diamonds...
above our eyes

Little specks
of glitter...
floating, passing by

We crane
our necks...
to see the show

Shooting stars
flitter...
as they glow

We close our eyes
and wish...
on the stars

I for one
am wishing them gone...
my scars
