you. Sometimes i think about you
the lightning strikes my eyes
your words stabbing my back

the kisses you gave me
i still dream about them
i feel the heat of your touch
i crave you, your warmth
the way my body echoed as you wrapped your arms around you
safe
in control
aware

I miss you
but as the waves comes crashing back
the dark edges of your past scrape at my skin
reminding me of the sharpness
of you
how one second you were there
and the next i was lost in the fog
screaming out your name
but you had moved on

I still miss you
but i wish i didn't.
