Edit Poem

Editing Instructions

Please note in the NOTES textbox below that this poem has been edited, do not put your name, please put as the following:
<!--EDITED by moderators on (Date) for (reasons).-->
DO NOT remove the line break ( <br /> ) html coding at the end of each line break, these are needed to form the correct lines.
THE CHEATIf you do not wish to delete a poem, or a certain part of a poem, and instead would like to send the url to Mick via PM for confirmation, enclose the entire poem (or part/s thereof) between <!--    and     --> (ie. <!--    POEM TEXT HERE     -->). This will still save the text, but will make it invisible from viewing (other than page source view). You could also add before the <!-- something to the effect of "This Poem under review".

The way I feel about you. How I feel about you.

Thou presence is like a rose scented candle

that lights up the room.

Thou art like a flower in fool bloom.

Thou face is calming and warm,

I feel the warmth of the sun

on my face radiating from yours.

When thou smiles, thou lights up my heart.

Thou voice sounds like Angels playing harps.

Soothes my soul calms my racing mind.

Clarifies my confusion.

Thou cold little hand cools my boiling blood

as your touch causes my emotions to flood.

As I ask,"how can something so wrong, feel so right".

When thou looks at me I feel hypnotized by the stars in your eyes.

I am drawn towards you as by magnetic fields.

Inviting me into your orbit as the moon orbits your world.

When I am near thou , I feel comfort, warmth and serenity.

Thou touch is ecstasy, that triggers a spine tingling sensation.

That feels like a surge of pleasant electricity.

And I loose my self in dazed imagination.

I like the way you smile when I say,

Hello beautiful, how are you.

I like when we talk and we share the moments quietly.

I like the way you walk, and turn to see if I am watching you.

I like when you look at me, our eyes meet asking silently,

are we OK?

And saying, I am still interested. Asking for confirmation.

I know you are teasing, but it feels just so pleasing.

Then you get serious and stare at me asking,

“What are you going to do about it”?

As I regret not grabbing you, and holding you.

I long to be near you, I crave for your company.

When we are apart I miss thou deeply, every moment of every day.

I talk to my self pretending thou art there. Answering my prayer.

I feel empty and lost without you, as though part of me is missing.

I thank God for the moments we share in friendship together

and curse him for the obstacles he placed in between us

The age, and time difference, and timing for our meeting.

As I searched for one such as you for what seemed like forever.

I finally gave up and settled for another.

Bound by matrimonial oath to the other.

In a system that restricts love

and places rules of behavior upon us

placing true happiness beyond us.

Our hearts beat in rhythm, our souls belong together.

I only wish that it could be forever.

But my love is unconditional and unselfish,

and I know you deserves the best life can offer you.

My time is limited and over this I have lamented.

And pray that you find it with another

whom feels the same way I do for you,

whom can give you, what I can not give you,

you deserve the best this world can offer you.

and that you spend the rest of your lives,

together,

in love,

bliss,

joy,

peace,

happiness

and serenity.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
