Trust Became Dust Thoughts of you
Albeit new
The happy times
We once shared
Scrambled up in my mind
No longer there to compare
Those distorted realities
Were so well defined
Remember the days
When you were mine
Love was brand new and oh so divine
You threw it all away
It wasn't me but you
That's what you once said
With the passing of time
You're just a distant memory
Clouded in haze
Were the days
Since we parted ways
The love I had for you
Those faded jaded memories
Trust became dust
Lust turned to rust
And it all blew away
