Screws Loose Everybody's off center, been too fast, too slow
We just can't keep the gear shift off the word GO

Everybody's off center
Got trouble keeping it together

Everybody's elevator might not go to the top floor
When we have had enough, all we want is more

Everybody's reality, is different than the one that is
That's just the truth, it is how we live 

Everybody's been embarrassed, felt lower than low
For it is like that always says, MAN, I TOLD YOU SO

Everybody's been neck deep in alligators 
Blind, that in front of them, right there sits the elevator 

Here is the inevitable truth that we will not shake 
Our lives will not be defined by just one mistake

Everybody has a screw loose
Not a couple, not a few, but all 
If we didn't, we wouldn't be normal
