Jackal
Where is the softness of life,
When I am consumed by the lion's roar.
Jackals baying for my blood in a cotton wool world lined with glass,
To rip and gauge, I bathe my wounds in sleep, in sanctuary
knowing,
The next door is right behind the war!
There are lives behind the devil and she is driven!
Who am I against her toxic breath!
Who am I against her Barbie smile.
I lift my nose to the air and breathe in her
Weakness,
For she,
the darker side
Of me!
