Divine Beauty
Today I looked at myself
I caught a glimpse of my reflection
I did not see ugly or beauty
I only saw perfection
Being blind to how you look
is the key to a happy heart
It’s a way to keep emotions in check
so your thoughts don’t tear you apart
When we become unhappy
over a simple little flaw or two
We over react with panic
it’s what we always do
Beauty is only skin deep
so don’t get hung up on your reflection
What you will see
does not need a thorough inspection
Be happy for who you are
you come from a mold that has been broken
Listen to what I say
to you, my wisdom has been spoken
Enjoy your life each day
smile and your beauty will surely shine
Next time you see your reflection
you will see yourself as divine
Just listen to your soul
it will not steer you wrong
You will be very happy
knowing you’re where you belong
