A City With No People
"A City With No People"
I once roamed this city in the middle of nowhere,
I was all alone, I somehow got used to this poisonous air.
No one loved me, no one cared,
I felt like I was caving in everywhere.
The people thought I was weird because of the way I stared at the starlit sky,
The reason I do is because I know there is someone that loved me and she lives way up high.
She would talk to me at night when I can't sleep and shine brightly in the night,
I would always know she was nearby when in the darkness she lit up shining bright.
But I'm in a city where I can never meet her,
At night I can see her which in the morning gives something to remember.
She was the most beautiful thing that I had ever knew,
And now I'm always wanting your love again because I miss you.
