we all grow Little fingers
tiny toes
Big brown eyes
Pale, pink nose

Loud giggles
toothless grins
Crawlin' around
this is where life begins

Sitting up,
learning to walk
Next thing you know
they'll learn to talk

"Mama, daddy,
no and yes",
Soon, they'll be hunting
treasure on their quest

Tying their shoes,
and riding a bike
Taking turns,
as they're still a little tyke

But, sooner or later
they're gonna grow tall
They're gonna go places,
and learn to fall

We'll still be there
to patch them up,
But we all have to tell them,
"Hold your head up."
