on the brink just leave
the door
open

hold up the sky
or tear it
down

reap the whirlwind
but don't miss
the insights

glittering
like sugar
on velvet

and a bleeding
metaphor with all
its bones broken

and programmed
like a clockwork
doll

and maybe I can't
fit into my own space
anymore...
