This or That
It's a full moon tonight,
Illinois delight- what does one do
when noon has given over to
what, to who- or whom?
My wife scrubs the toilet with
the vigor only Vodka emits-
I, away, study the globe, the orb, the fullness
the meaning full lunar pulls us all
and how it fits (me na' whiskey-less).
It seems pristine goals are mannequins to life
when lunar solid round (with a touch) inhabits
that clean portion of my wife-
In me? Not so much, as the tap and touch
and gaze (along with billions)-
dreaming of this or that-
I find solace enough in writing
of what it would be to engage
in this or that.
