The girl I guess I can see what you were thinking
I didn't want to be that person either
The girl who loves the other girl


I didn't want to have to worry about
the assumptions people would
make if I wore a tie-dye t shirt


To look at my churches pristine floors
wondering If I would one day fall through
the cracks like they sometimes say

But the difference is that I realized something
It's true that life is in fact a struggle bus
but you don't have to run people over with it
