Loving Our Children

A father I am
of three wonderful children I have made
Every day they grow older
every day some of the memories fade

Making video’s and pictures
along every step of the way
Eventually my children and I can look back
on any given day

Children are so precious
even when they can truly stress us out
I love them so much
I hate it when they make me scream or shout

As they are only children
they only focus on each and every day
Going to school is sometimes hard
as they would much rather only run and play

Sometimes we hurt their feelings
then they feel sad and all alone
Not realizing how much we love them
it’s just their actions we do not condone

Loving my children is so easy
many times they make me laugh and cry
Having children to love is a blessing
So show them love as each day goes by

If you’re a parent
give your child a big hug today
Let them know how much you love them
it’s something they always need to hear you say
