Fond memories not quite remembered I forget exactly how it went
Long story short, I saw it going different in my mind
We we did, not our intent
Can't believe we caught the train on time 

Am I awake? Alive what happened?
Ok, generic answer-I don't know 
Look, a once fluffy cake now flattened
I'd better grab my ID-It's time to go

For once, so glad I woke up alone
Keys and wallet-check
A quick glance- in which direction is home?
A tattoo on my forearm, what the heck?

Fond memories not quite remembered
Events in my mind, jumbled and tethered
Whether I was the hero, or the goat
Results are results, and I've taken note
