Little things It's the little things that I never thought
that I would remember that matter
that I remember most in the end

like the way your hair fell over your
shoulder and your eyes would
twinkle when you laughed at me

or the way you'd get so competitive
always challenging me to a battle
of wits and leaving me speechless

The way my family loved you
and you said that you wanted to
meet my older sister

I never though that these things
would be so hard to forget or
that there would be reminders

Whenever I remember these times
I cry and people ask if it's because I'm sad
I say I used to be happy
