Lorelei I was beckoned by a siren
Sweet Lorelei's song
My vessel was shattered
But my sense of self still strong

I stood on my island
Upset but not distraught
The challenges that lie forth
Must be faced, not thrown at me for naught

For even in the face of defeat,
My burning will carried on
It seems along with hope
My pride is all but gone

I may not be, brimming with integrity
But it's carried, by your continued support of me
I learn of my self-worth, what I have inside
And thank Lorelei, for the courage to have tried
