Narrow Minds
A wide world is narrowed by narrow minds
Clashing words, bearing broken swords
And leaving love behind.
Headlines read:
“Black Market Racketeers
Pull the Strings that Turn the Keys.”
They make their profits hawking fears,
And selling doves as novelties.
To fight, to die,
To stake a claim in
Any name but “humankind”
Is more than drawing battle lines,
It’s tantamount to suicide.
