sweet as rain i knew a girl sweet as rain
she was soft and never a shamed
she questioned god and the answers of the day
she says maybe somehow, someway
everything will be okay

I know that precious sweet taste
that soul could never be tamed

she was soft but never a shamed
she questioned man and why his good nature rapes

she screams maybe some one will learn to wait
and everything will be okay




she confessed to me in song
flowers are alive to wave on
birds fly to breath mothers air
and the trees are strength and longing for hope and care


she sung to me
she sung me along
she sung to me
she sung me this song
