My Enduring and True Love for You! by Fred M. Lassonde
Dear Heart I am daily trying not to think of you
Since you no longer talk to me I walk daily a lonely blue
I remember that you said that feelings do not last
Yet my Love for you will not pass or let go of the past
For it, True Love, is far more than a mere fickle feeling
My Enduring Love for you leaves my heart and mind reeling
When I say "I Love You" It goes far beyond speaking hot air
For real Enduring and True Love is always and forever there
It will not leave my captured heart nor my weary mind
Perhaps you will yet find we are truly one of a kind
Yes, forlorn I walk a lonely beaten down pathway
It is with the thought though I will see you again someday
Of course my heart tells me that and my mind does see
That even through all of this there is a future for you and me
Always you are my female hero and I am very proud of you
I miss you, pray for your best with hope you will miss me too!
