Dark Tranquility
Your face tonight is like a lover's glass lullaby
I see through your
Emotional, beautiful, blank face
More pale and bright
Than the moon we lie under
I feel the tired, lacerated passion
On the other side
Of the glass

The tears in
Your eyes tonight
Feel like ice on my lips
I kiss away the melted pain
In the clear tranquility
Of our baring gaze


Your hair is like the ocean tonight
In graceful
Crashing waves of darkness,
It lashes my face;
Caressing,
With a sweet,
lingering beauty
A dark puppet
Of the wind


Your heart is like mine tonight
Given completely
Locked eternally
Safe in the trembling hands
Of the enraptured other
Who will never fail you
