Where we Kissed As the sun falls
I rise
Slowly into the night
I walk alone in despair
Stepping carefully
As not to disturb the calm air

Visions of time past
Collected in thoughts
Gifts of joy
Clenched tightly
My hand in yours
Out to see the world
Like never before
My first
True love
A tear hits the floor

Release of regret
Frees the disconnect
Between what is real
And what was dreamt
I feel the words
Whispered underneath your breathe
I understand now
You had nothing left
