task at hand
I've taken on a task
to many this is known
to raise my little boy
completely on my own

he's as happy as can be
with a bond we'll never lose
it may not be a perfect life
but it is the one we choose

any man that attempts this
should truly be aware
every choice that you make
is a choice that you share

lots of time talking
to myself & to the wall
while my son is sleeping
& noone that i can call

a simple 3 am moment
of a simple sleepless night
I encourage all dads that do this
simply do it right
