DREAMY your infinite wisdom is infinite
it has no start, and it has no end
it's right in front of me, but i can't see it
what were we focusing on once again?

the band played on and on...
until the crowd was put to sleep
dreaming dreams of emerald lawns
and of treasures they wish to keep

a cannon fires in a distant battle
in the back of someone's mind
plunging deeply into herded cattle
and those men who were left behind

wish upon your lucky stars
thank the heavens far above
shoot an arrow at planet mars
then lay waste to someone's love

climb a wall of cobblestone
sign there, your name in famous pen
you will awaken to a telephone
ringing somewhere in the den

this little moment may now be over
all of my witticisms have seemed to cease
i hope you find your four leaf clover
i hope you find your needed peace...
