You. You give me hope
And help me cope
When life pulls me down
You bring me to the surface of the ground.

You teach to care
And help me share
You make me honest
With kindness the best.

You are the reason
That fills the seasons
When I hear love
I think of you.

You make my heart beat faster
And slower at the same time.
To my face you bring laughter
Which makes our love worth more than a trillion dimes.

From you I have learned to love
With grace from above
It's for you I live
and want to give.

I love you because you are caring
I love you because you are thoughtful
I love you because you are kind.
I love you because you are pleasant
I love you because you are beautiful
I love you because you are lovely.
And most of all,
I love you because you are you.
