You mean the world to me...
Within you I have found a reason to believe again…
To believe that love once again is possible…
Love…
An emotion I thought I had lost…
For within you I have found,
A bond that is stronger that the chains that pull me ever towards you.
A bond of friendship that will last an eternity…
You have no idea the amount of joy you have brought me,
The way that the simplest of your smiles, blows my mind into a whirlwind of love.
Or how that sparkle in your eye, sets my soul ablaze.
The feelings you fill me with cannot be put into words…
None could ever reach the depths of its sincerity.
I long for you in ways I never dreamed possible,
I reach for you in my dreams,
I cry for you in my days,
I hope for you in my prayers…
But you remain one step out of reach.
Just pass my finger tips…
Yet still within sight…
I’m not in control anymore… I’ve never lost control before,
And it frightens me.
Trusting blindly in my heart, may run me right into heartache…
But I don’t feel I have a choice any longer…
But if nothing more, I will hold you deep in my heart as a friend.
You have shown me so much trust…
So much companionship…
That nothing will ever take your place in my heart,
This friendship that we now share is more important,
Than this longing in my heart, to make you happy.
And yet deep inside, I will always know,
That no one will ever give more of themselves than me,
To make your world a little more perfect…
