Deemed Confusion doth reign
In life's diminishing game
Dispensing punishing pain
Disguised within hate's rain

Hearts run in blinded rage
Waiting for time's last page
Souls seek one last shelter
Unaware it won't matter

Calm escapes a hectic mess
Peace deserted with the rest
Silence fills the empty spot
Death claims the entire lot
